Voter turnout was 72.23 percent in Bashkortostan at State Duma deputies elections

UFA, 19 September 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. In Bashkortostan, the voter turnout in the elections to the State Duma was 72.23 percent. Though only 94 percent of protocols have been processed so far. According to the number of votes obtained by party lists the United Russia party won with 58.73 percent of voters. The Communist Party takes the second place - 18.45 percent, the Liberal Democratic Party is in the third place with the result of 9.75 percent. The Just Russia party with 6.27 percent is in the fourth place. These preliminary results are announced today at a briefing by the Chairman of the Central Election Commission RB Khaidar Valeev.
47 candidates competed for deputy seats in six districts. In five of these voters preferred representatives of the United Russia party. Pavel Kachkaev won in Ufa single-seat constituency with the result of 57.66 percent, Ildar Bikbaev in the Blagoveschensk district (52,28 percent), Zugura Rakhmatullina in Beloretsk district (49,51 percent), Zarif Bayguskarov in Salavat district (57 , 41 percent), Alexey Izotov in Sterlitamak district (48,59). The representative of the "Civic Platform" Rifat Shaikhutdinov (45.25 percent) won in Neftekamsk district. Total of 18 candidates 16 present parliamentary parties.
In by-elections to the State Assembly of Bashkortostan in Inors single-mandate constituency 53,08 percent was received by Eugeniy Semivelichenko. In Naryshevsky single-mandate constituency Rail Fakhretdinov got 73.59 percent. Khaidar Valeev stressed that these were not the final figures.
