Bashkortostan United Russia members count on five or six seats in State Duma by party lists

UFA, 19 September 2016. /Bashinform News Agency,Galiya Nabieva/. In Bashkortostan the United Russia representatives expect to receive five to six seats in the State Duma by party lists. The final figure will depend on the number of supporters of the party in Russia in general and in the republic in particular. This was reported at a press briefing on the results of the single voting day by the secretary of the regional branch of the party Konstantin Tolkachev.

Konstantin Tolkachev underlined that the United Russia victory in Bashkortostan was largely due to the fact that the party list in the elections was led by the Head of the Republic - Rustem Khamitov. His contribution affected the final decision. The United Russia won a confident victory in all single-mandate constituencies.

According to the preliminary data, the party will improve its position in the State Duma. Konstantin Tolkachev said that in the current structure the ruling party gets 343 seats. It is still unknown who will come to the place of winners in single-seat constituencies, which are also in the top ten of the party list.

"This is a party decision, which will be made at the regional branch conference, to be held on September 24", said Konstantin Tolkachev.
