Public sector employees will have less vacation period in Bashkiria

UFA, 7 September 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. Public sector employees will have less vacation period in Bashkortostan. The corresponding law will be considered at the first meeting of the autumn session of the State Assembly RB. The document was approved on Wednesday, September 7, by the parliamentary committee on local government, development of civil society institutions and the media.

As explained by the chairman of the committee Rumil Aznabayev, the state legislation is brought to conformity with the federal, which introduces similar provisions in respect of the public servants across the country. According to the amendments, the main annual paid leave for all public sector employees will be 30 calendar days. Previously, it reached 35 days for certain categories of officials.

The new version of the law reduces the period of extra leave for long service. With the experience of municipal service from one year to five years it will be one calendar day, of 5-10 years – five days, 10-15 years – seven days, 15 years – ten days. Previously, the maximum increase to the main vacation period was 15 days.
