All Ufa precinct election commissions will be equipped with webcams - Bashkortostan CEC

UFA, 23 August 2016. /Bashinform News Agency,Ksenia Kalinina/. All precinct election commissions of Ufa will be equipped with webcams. This was reported at a meeting with political parties on August 23 by the head of the Central Election Commission RB Haidar Valeev.

"By the resolution of the Central Election Commission RB ballots processing complexes of 2010 model are distributed throughout the republic", said Haidar Valeev and added that under the new regulations of the CEC of Russia, in the cities, including Ufa, webcams would be used at 409 precinct election commissions. Installations works are already underway. By September 18 all precinct election commission of the city will be equipped with video surveillance systems.

Representatives of the parties asked questions to the leadership of the CEC of Russia and Bashkortostan. In particular, they talked about the effective interaction with the media, formation of territorial election commissions and an administrative impact on the preparations for the elections.

Haidar Valeev said that all issues would be addressed within the framework of the law.

As Bashinform News Agency reported, in the republic a member of the CEC of Russia Sergey Sirotkin answered questions of political parties’ representatives.
