Eight candidates are registered for State Duma elections in Bashkortostan

UFA, 26 July 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. In Bashkortostan, eight candidates passed registration for the State Duma elections in single-mandate constituencies. These data were reported by the head of the Central Election Commission RB Khaidar Valeev at a press briefing on July 25.
"The intense competition in the elections is connected with activity of candidates from political parties. 63 candidates were put forward in six district commissions for the elections to the State Duma, 11 of them are self-nominated. The remaining 52 candidates represent 11 political parties; they are exempted from collection of signatures in support of candidates", the head of the Central Election Commission RB said.
The Communist Party, the Liberal Democratic Party, "A Just Russia", "Rodina" and "Communists of Russia" nominated their representatives in all six districts. United Russia is not represented in Neftekamsk District. Two parties - the "Patriots of Russia" and "Party of Growth" put forward candidates in five districts.
Now self-nominees should collect signatures in their support. It is necessary to collect about 14 thousand votes, depending on the number of voters.
Reception of documents for registration of a candidate nominated for a single-mandate constituency, will last until August 3. Another 10 days is given to commissions to verify the completeness and accuracy of any information presented. Full list of parties and candidates will be known only in mid-August.
