Election campaign in media will begin on August 20 - Russian Central Election Commission

UFA, 17 June 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Sergey Zakharov/. The Russian Central Election Commission named the date of the campaign beginning in the media - August 20, 2016.

The Commission amended the decision of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation on the procedure of drawing procedure of airtime between the political parties and candidates registered for elections of deputies to the State Duma of the seventh convocation.

The President of Russia signed an executive order on the appointment of elections of deputies to the State Duma of the new convocation on 17 June.

On June 20, in the hall of the Russian CEC meetings a ceremony of activating the countdown timer to the election of September 18, 2016 will be held.
