678 counting stations of "United Russia" primaries opened in Bashkortostan

UFA, 22 May 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. In Bashkortostan, 678 counting stations of "United Russia" preliminary voting opened. Any comer with the Russian citizenship passport can vote in his community. Stations will run from 08.00 to 20.00.

Today 101 candidates are in the final list of Bashkortostan. Debates preceded the primaries. The party members expressed their views on a variety of issues - from agricultural development to combatting corruption.

The preliminary voting mechanism was approved by the Party Congress in February. According to it, not only members or supporters of the "United Russia", but also non-party citizens could participate in the primaries.

The Regional Election Commission, six district counting commissions, 678 local counting stations are arranged to conduct the preliminary voting in the republic. More than 3.5 thousand people are engaged in work of the counting stations. In addition, the party is rendered help by hundreds of volunteers and other activists.
