One third of Russians positively relates to primaries conducting - VCIOM

UFA, 19 May 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. One third of Russians positively relates to the primaries conducting. Results of the study are published by the Russian Public Opinion Research Centre (VCIOM).

The idea of the preliminary voting on the selection of candidates from political parties is regarded positively by about one third of respondents (33 percent). Every second Russian (47 percent) is aware of the upcoming primaries of the "United Russia", which will be held on May 22, 2016.

Also one third of respondents (32 percent) expressed readiness to take part in it a week before the pre-voting. Among them, 62 percent were able to name the location of their polling stations, including 36 percent of respondents knew the exact address.
