"Bridge of Friendship Ufa - Bodensee" Association supported "Seven Appeals for Peace"

UFA, 10 May 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. The "Bridge of Friendship Ufa - Bodensee" Association supported "Seven Appeals for Peace". On the day of the 71st anniversary of the Great Victory the German public figures published a letter to the people of Bashkortostan.

The members of the organization in the first paragraph of the letter apologize on behalf of the German people for the millions of victims of the Great Patriotic War "for this open wound, which our country under the Nazi dictatorship inflicted to the Russian people".

Members of the Association are grateful to the Russian people for "prevention of conflicts escalation".

"The peace between Germany and Russia, and the friendship between the peoples has no alternative for us", it is said in the letter.

The "Bridge of Friendship Ufa - Bodensee" Association is a civil initiative of understanding between the peoples of Russia and Germany. The organization intends to connect people, social organizations of the city and finally - the two nations. The joint project "We Are a Dialogue" is successfully implemented.
