Vladimir Putin has signed six instructions following Truth and Justice media forum

UFA, 5 May 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. The President of Russia, the leader of the Popular Front, Vladimir Putin approved a list of six instructions on the results of Truth and Justice regional and local media forum, held in St. Petersburg on April 4-7. This was reported on the official website of the Kremlin.
The President directed most of the instructions to the Government of Russia. In particular, it should clarify the rules for distribution of periodicals by subscription. It is about providing services for sorting publications and their delivery to newspaper points of the "Russian Post". The term of execution of the instruction is determined before August 1, 2016.
Till July 1, the Government should examine practice in application of the law and on this basis to consider the feasibility of improving RF legislation concerning procedures for obtaining the status of combat veteran.
Besides, the Government has been instructed to examine the issue of benefit payments to people raising three or more underage children and with no income from employment, entrepreneurial or other activity, and the possibility of making payments for childrearing work, and of developing within the limits of budget commitments a mechanism for state support for family-based pre-school groups. The Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and senior officials of Russian regions should submit the corresponding proposals by July 1.
The Popular Front on behalf of Vladimir Putin will consider the feasibility of making amendments to the law on compulsory preliminary application of civil servants to the media with demand to refute false and discrediting their honour and dignity information in order to make pre-trial settlement of conflicts. By July 1, the head of the state instructed to elaborate amendments to environmental protection laws regarding the establishment of forested areas and green belts.
The media forum was attended by over 450 people: journalists from all around Russia, bloggers, heads of federal media outlets, and the heads of relevant government ministries and agencies. The forum focused on topical issues in regional life, the development of independent Russian journalism, and international issues.
