Bashkortostan official delegation will hold B2B-meeting at Italian-Russian interregional forum

UFA, 27 April 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov will speak at the opening of the Italian-Russian interregional forum. The Head of the Region led the official delegation of Bashkortostan at the prestigious Economic Forum. This is the third official visit of Rustem Khamitov to Italy. Yesterday the republican leadership held a meeting with representatives of major Italian companies. Also B2B-meetings are planned.

At the plenary meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB Dmitry Sharonov will make a report.

Representatives of the business delegation of the region will discuss issues of bilateral cooperation in the fields of mechanical engineering and petrochemicals, production and processing of agricultural products, as well as health care, tourism and sports. Interests of the republic are represented by the Director General of LLC "Timber Company "Selena" Vladimir Kaniber, General Director of LLC "Bashkir Exhibition Company" Albina Kildigulova, General Director of JSC "Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan" Artem Kireev, Director of state farm "Alekseevsky" Ramzil Nizametdinov , General Director of LLC "Premium Group" Sergei Shulga.

Specialized sections, visits to companies in the region of Lombardy are planned as part of the major program. The Forum will be closed with an official reception at the Consulate General of Russia in Milan.

Italy is among the top five countries - trade partners of Bashkortostan. In recent years, the bilateral trade turnover has steadily increased. Over the years 1998-2014, it increased by 84 times. 13 joint ventures in the field of machinery and equipment, distilled alcoholic beverages, wholesale trade, real estate, consulting are established in the territory of Bashkortostan with participation of the Italian capital.
