Centre for Citizens' Rights Protection will be established in Ufa

UFA, 25 April 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. A Centre for Citizens' Rights Protection will be established in Ufa. This was announced during a forum of "A Just Russia" political party in Moscow by its chairman Sergei Mironov. The opening is scheduled for May this year.
It was started to open the centres in the cities of Russia since the beginning of 2015. Everyone can come there and ask for help. Citizens will receive free legal consultations, support in addressing their problems. In addition, lawyers can submit lawsuits and defend the right of the claimers.
Legal consultations are operating now in Moscow, Simferopol, Voronezh, Kostroma, Ryazan, Nizhny Novgorod and other Russian cities. Today 61 centres are opened; total 75 are scheduled for launching.
The centres are engaged in solving problems in the housing sector, conducting "price monitor" (monitoring of price tags for socially important food products and drugs), carrying out the "Avtospravedlivost" project (upholding the rights of drivers), fighting for accessible environment for people with disabilities, for affordable travel, the rights of patients. There is also a program to protect citizens from illegal actions of employers during layoffs and reductions.
