Modern Russians would have voted for preservation of the USSR

UFA, 16 March 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. 64 percent of Russians would have voted for the preservation of the Soviet Union. This is evidenced by a poll conducted by the Russian Public Opinion Research Centre (VCIOM).
25 years after the referendum on the preservation of the USSR (March 17, 1991), the majority of citizens once again expressed their willingness to give an affirmative answer. According to the Central Referendum Commission of the USSR, the answer "yes" on the ballot was indicated by 76 percent of people came to the polls (71 percent among voters in the RSFSR). Today, 64 percent of Russians would have voted for the preservation of the USSR.
The respondents tend to find the reasons for non-execution of the national will inside the country. The Russians mostly blame for the non-execution of the referendum the former president of the USSR (27 percent) and the supreme power as a whole (17).
