Rustem Khamitov has held a meeting on strategic planning

UFA, 9 March 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Alexander Smirnov/. The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov has held a meeting on strategic planning. It was attended by members of the Government RB, representatives of the regional scientific community and Moscow "Skolkovo" Management School.

The progress of work on the Strategy of Socio-Economic Development until 2030 was discussed at the meeting, which should be adopted before January 1, 2017.

The Head of the Republic noted that the document was aimed at consolidating the positive developments in the region's economy.

“Over the past five years, good reserve of stability, strength of the republican economy has been formed despite quite difficult situation. There was progress in many areas”, said Rustem Khamitov. “Bashkortostan has become more open and recognizable region, including at the international level. Our business environment attracts investors. We have trusting relationship with everyone who works with us. So now we need a document, which will outline the long-term development plans basing on the achievements of recent years.
