Consul General of Federal Republic of Germany visited Bashkortostan

UFA, 25 February 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. The Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Yekaterinburg Stefan Friedrich Keil is paying a visit to Bashkortostan. As part of the information visit he had a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Government of the republic Rustem Mardanov.

The expansion of investment and humanitarian cooperation was discussed at the meeting. It was proposed to create new joint ventures. According to official data, the foreign trade turnover of Bashkortostan with the Federal Republic of Germany amounted to over US $ 250 million following the year of 2015. Also the topic of development of the students interchange was considered, with active involvement of Bashkir State University.

During the visit, the Consul General visited the Ufa production company LLC "Vittsenmann - Russ" and LLC "Buchen Industrial Services"- a subsidiary of the German company Buchen UmweltService GmbH. Currently, at the company’s disposal there is unique modern equipment for industrial cleaning and pumping of sludge.

The Consul General visited the «Hallo Deutsch» Centre of the German language, met with the leadership of Ufa gymnasium No.86 and saw the Supreme Mufti, Chairman of the Russia's Central Spiritual Governance for Muslims Russia Talgat Tajuddin.
