Ufa and the Chinese city of Nanchang to sign cooperation agreement

UFA, 19 February 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. Ufa and the Chinese city of Nanchang will sign another cooperation agreement. 21 agreements between the governments of the regions of the Volga Federal District and the Chinese provinces are signed, but there are prospects of signing another ten. In order to develop twin-city relations it is planned to conclude such an agreement between the cities of Ufa and Nanchang. This was announced during the meeting of the Russian part of the joint Russian-Chinese working group.

According to the Deputy Plenipotentiary Envoy of the Russian President to the Volga Federal District Yuri Zolotarev, the project "Volga-Yangtze" will continue to develop in a new format. The round table of regional leaders in the form of cooperation between the regions of the Volga Federal District and the provinces of the upper, middle reaches of the Yangtze River of China will be transformed into a Council on Interregional Cooperation in the "Volga-Yangtze" format, the press service of the Chief Federal Inspector for Bashkortostan informs.

Our republic is working closely with the Chinese province of Jiangxi in the field of agriculture, industry, trade and culture. In September 2015 in Ufa it has already been signed an Agreement on Friendship and Cooperation with the Chinese city of Nanchang.
