Bashkortostan Parliamentarians will be obliged to report personal interest in exercising their powers

UFA, 14 January 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. Parliamentarians of Bashkortostan will be obliged to report personal interest in exercising their powers, which results or may result in a conflict of interest.
The deputies examined a number of anticorruption laws at a meeting of the Committee on State Construction, Legal Order and Judicial Matters. The draft law "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Bashkortostan" proposes to supplement the Law "On State Civil Service of the Republic of Bashkortostan" with the Article 61 stipulating that the restrictions and prohibitions relating to the civil service are established by the federal laws.
The deputies considered a proposal to clarify a number of rules governing the activities of the State Assembly. In particular, it is offered to provide for the right of citizens and their associations to bring in civil legislative initiatives.
Five issues of the agenda of the meeting were related to the candidates for the posts of justices of the peace of certain judicial districts of Bashkortostan, four - to the projects of federal laws.
