Rustem Khamitov congratulated prosecutors on their professional holiday

On January 12 in Ufa, the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov delivered a speech at the solemn meeting devoted to the Day of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation. The Head of the Republic congratulated the staff of the Prosecutor's Office RB on their professional holiday and presented state awards of Bashkortostan.

“The Prosecutor's Office is the most important link in the entire law enforcement system, which is a reliable pillar of the state; it stands firmly on guard of law and order. The effectiveness of the fight against crime, against law violations in economic and social spheres, success of combating extremism and corruption, reliable protection of constitutional rights of citizens depend largely on your service”, said Rustem Khamitov. “Confidence in power of law is an essential condition of personal and public safety of each of us. And you strengthen it with your daily diligent work.”

Among the challenges facing the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic, the Head of Bashkortostan named combating crime and corruption, terrorism and extremism. According to him, the success of these tasks solution determines the economic growth rate, social stability, strengthening of the rule of law.
