Deputies of Bashkortostan State Assembly adopted 60 laws during autumn session

UFA, 11 January 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. In Bashkortostan, during the autumn session the State Assembly RB reviewed 84 bills, 60 of them acquired the status of law to date. More than half (55.4%) of all legislative initiatives have been brought by the standing committees. This was told by the Speaker of the republican parliament, Konstantin Tolkachev summing up the activities of the State Assembly in 2015.

The regional parliament during the period reviewed about 500 federal laws, initiatives and addresses received from the State Duma, and colleagues from other subjects of Russia. In turn, the State Assembly RB in the autumn session of 2015 brought seven of its own legislative initiatives for consideration by the State Duma. Total 33 legislative initiatives were sent to the Duma during the fifth convocation of the republican parliament.

As a result the State Assembly RB is still on the second place among the regional parliaments of the Volga Federal District in number of bills introduced and the first place in number of legislative initiatives that have been adopted and have already acquired the force of federal law.
