Rustem Khamitov met with the Minister of Construction and Housing RF Mikhail Men

On December 18, at the House of the Republic a meeting of the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov and the Minister of Construction, Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation Mikhail Men was held. They discussed the progress in the building complex of the region, issues of reforming and improving the system of housing and public utilities.

“We have worked well in the sphere of housing and public utilities and construction. This year we shall commission 2.6 million square meters of housing. This level we have been holding for several years, with a slight increase”, said Rustem Khamitov. “Industrial construction goes with a smaller pace, but still at a good level. We will have 105 percent in investments, plus 5 percent compared to the previous year. This is due to major construction projects of the industrial enterprises in our economic block. There are major construction projects in agriculture.”

According to the Head of the Republic, implementation of programs for resettlement of people from hazardous dwelling, public utilities modernization, capital repairs is systematically continued in Bashkortostan.

The Minister thanked Rustem Khamitov for assistance in organizing the National Forum "Housing and Public Utilities Changes", which took place in Ufa.

“Today we must speak about innovations, which for two years have been made by our Ministry in the housing and public services sector. We do not plan to change anything. This is an important moment”, said Mikhail Men. “We will only perfect the existing regulations - in regard to the concession agreements, other areas, such as the long-term tariff regulation necessary for investment attraction. So once again thanks for organizing the event.”
