Crimea has not applied for Bashkortostan assistance due to power outage from Ukraine - the press-service of the Government RB
UFA, 23 November 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Olesya Seregina/. Municipal operations headquarters is formed in Belogorsk region of Crimea to overcome the energy crisis caused by the termination of the electricity supply from Ukraine. Bashkortostan has not received appeals for assistance so far, the press service of the Government RB informs.
According to the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksenov, there are no threats to life and security of citizens in the Republic of Crimea. All critical infrastructure is connected to a backup power sources. This is stated on the website of the Head of the Republic of Crimea.
The situation in Belogorsk region is slightly smoothed due to its proximity to the capital of the republic - the city of Simferopol, where a heat-electric generating plant operates. Now Belogorsk region is partly supplied with electricity, but because of its scarcity a schedule of rolling blackouts in the area is formed.
As the press-service of the Government RB informs, three new modular boilers on solid fuels were installed in Belogorsk district schools overhauled with Bashkortostan assistance in 2014-2015. The design of the boilers allows in the event of power outage running gasoline generators that produce electricity for schools. But so far there is no such a need - a day off is announced in Crimea. And presumably, the Crimean schools will have a break-up for holidays.
Today in Belogorsk region the deficient electricity is spent primarily on water supply of settlements (operation of pumps, purification systems), and then - on work of bakeries and health care institutions.
