UFA, 5 November 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. In Russia, the age limit in the civil service will be increased from 60 to 65 years. The bill to increase the retirement age to certain categories of citizens is submitted to the State Duma by the Russian Government.
The new law provides for a phased increase in the minimum length of the civil service giving the right to the appointment of pension for length of service and determining its size from 15 to 20 years.
Innovations of the bill will not apply to the citizens dismissed from federal civil service before January 1, 2016 and acquired the right to a pension for length of service, as well as federal civil servants entitled to insurance retirement age (women 55 years old and men at the age of 60) and having the experience of civil service for at least 15 years.
In Bashkortostan pensions are received by more than 1 million 133 thousand inhabitants. Of these, about 800 people are from the number of federal civil servants, representatives of the Pension Fund RB explained.
