Konstantin Tolkachev held a session of Commission of Legislators Council at Federal Assembly

UFA, 16 October 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. The Chairman of the State Assembly of Bashkortostan Konstantin Tolkachev held a session of the Commission of the Legislators Council on legislative support of national security and anti-corruption. The event addressed the issues of anti-corruption legislation.

According to Konstantin Tolkachev, an active role in this process is played by the parliament of Bashkortostan. Recently the State Duma considered and adopted in the first reading the bill "On Amendments to Article 125 of the Federal Law" On Combating Corruption" proposed to consider by the State Assembly of Bashkortostan.
Participants of the session discussed new anti-corruption laws, which specify the terminology and remove ambiguities in the existing legislation, as well as expand the list of officials who are subject to limitations and restrictions established by federal anti-corruption laws.
Konstantin Tolkachev said that since the beginning of 2015, the Commission received six draft legislative initiatives from the five regional parliaments. On two of them it was decided to recommend them for submission to the State Duma.
