Booking procedure of hotel rooms is regulated in Russia

In Russia, the booking procedure of hotel rooms is regulated, the concept of "check-out time" is specified, provisions on the hotel check-in are supplemented, including a list of major documents submitted at check-in. The Government approved new rules of hotel services rendering.

The document is prepared by the Ministry of Culture of Russia in accordance with the Law "On Protection of Consumer Rights" and pursuant to the instructions of the Government RF. The rules approved on April 25, 1997 shall be deemed to have lost force.

Now hotels have the right to determine a procedure for charging on arrival before check-in time. The requirements to the hotel accommodation rules are formulated. The rights and obligations of each party to the contract of hospitality services provision are set forth in more detail; measures of their responsibility are defined more clearly.
