Participants of the Eurasian Women's Forum held a session of direct television hook-up with Ufa

UFA, 29 September 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. St. Petersburg hosted the Eurasian Women's Forum, which brought together more than 750 participants from 80 countries. The issues of peace and kindness, preservation of family values, the fight against terrorism and drug addiction were discussed at the forum.

During the plenary session of the forum a direct television hook-up with Ufa was held, where a roundtable of women's movement "For Peace and Progress" was taking place. Women addressed to the participants of the Forum to join forces to stop violence, war and conflict.

The Chairwoman of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko named an offer of Bashkortostan women to hold the next Eurasian Women's Forum in Ufa "as very creative and unexpected".

"And, of course, none of the participants were left unfazed by children's poems about mother, peace and good", said the Senator from Bashkortostan Liliya Gumerova.
