More than 73% of Bashkortostan voters voted for United Russia candidates - Konstantin Tolkachev

UFA, 16 September 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. According to preliminary data, on the single voting day on September 13 more than 73% of voters voted for candidates nominated by the regional office of the United Russia party. This was reported at a press conference on the results of the election campaign "Autumn-2015" in Bashinform News Agency by the Secretary of the regional branch of the party Konstantin Tolkachev.

15329 candidates for 7310 seats were registered at these elections. 5572 deputies were elected from the United Russia party. The regional office of the party put forward candidates for all replaced seats. All of them were elected through preliminary internal party voting. More than 700 self-nominees also represented the United Russia. 15395 people took part in the primaries procedure.

"The party makes emphasis on youth. According to preliminary data, 793 people under the age of 35 years were elected to the local governments from the United Russia", said Konstantin Tolkachev.
