In Bashkortostan elections were held in 7309 districts - Haidar Valeev

UFA, 14 September 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. From 7310 vacant seats 7309 were replaced in Bashkortostan on the single voting day on September 13. Elections in Abzan village council of Arkhangelsk region were declared void. Preliminary results of the municipal elections in the region were reported at a press briefing by the Head of the Central Election Commission RB Haidar Valeev.

On September 13, 2015 in Bashkortostan, elections for deputies of councils of rural settlements (7272 seats), towns (Priyutovo and Chishmy councils - a total of 30 seats), as well as by-elections of deputies of representative bodies of local self-government (a total of six seats, including one seat to the Council of Ufa city) and deputies of the State Assembly - Kurultay of the Republic of Bashkortostan (two seats) were held.

15328 candidates took part in the elections. Of these, 15 227 candidates for deputies of rural settlements, 73 (including three candidates for by-elections) candidates for towns councils, six candidates for deputies of the City Council of Ufa (by-elections), and 11 candidates for deputies of the State Assembly RB.
