Agreement between republican political parties is signed in Bashkortostan

UFA, 9 September 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. In Bashkortostan an agreement on political and moral principles of the campaign between the major political parties of the republic is signed. As stressed by one of the initiators of the document the Chairman of the Board of the regional branch "Alliance of Greens and Social Democrats" Rufina Shagapova the agreement pursues the task of preserving social stability under conditions of freedom of choice and civilized competition of political forces. She expressed the hope that this step would contribute to the development of civil society.

"We support the initiative because we believe that the electoral process must always be honest. It is important for us that the electoral campaign takes place not only within legislative, but also moral and ethical standards. We invite everybody to carry out their campaigns honestly. Today we came to shake hands each other", said the head of the regional executive committee of the United Russia party Ramzil Ishsarin.

The Chairman of the Bashkortostan regional branch "Russian Ecological Party "The Greens" Murad Shafikov also stressed that it was important to hear each other and to listen to each other.

Another initiator of the agreement signing was the Chairman of the regional branch "Patriots of Russia" Zagir Khakimov, who admitted the party’s very serious relation to the current election campaign. The municipal elections are believed in the party as the most important element, as these deputies are the closest to the people.

The leaders of the Communist Party, the Party of Social Solidarity and the Russian Party of Pensioners for Justice also supported the agreement. The document was signed for a period of five years.
