Rustem Khamitov visited the Grid Control Centre of Bashkirenergo
UFA, 13 August 2015. /Bashinform News Agency/. Today, on 13 August, the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov had a working trip over Ufa. As the press service of the Head of the Republic informs, the first was the Grid Control Centre (GCC) of Bashkirenergo company. The new high-tech facility was built as part of a unique for Russia pilot project of the company on high-tech smart grids establishing.
Andrey Makarov, the BESK General Director informs that the software and analytical complex in seconds gives information about where a failure occurred, offers a step by step algorithm for troubleshooting and after an adoption of solution by a manager automatically allocates a damaged cable section, performs switching, and then supplies electric power to customers via an alternative scheme. The whole process takes a few minutes.
The General Director also displayed the Head of the Republic samples of the electric equipment by «Siemens AG» produced by JSC "BESK" under a cooperation agreement signed in February 2015. This document suggests the localization of production in Bashkortostan.
Currently, the concept of Smart Grid is implemented in a pilot district bounded by Bakalinskaya, Gubaidulin, Zlobin Streets and Salavat Yulaev Avenue. According to Andrey Makarov, all city power grid facilities will be transferred to the "smart grids" in the next four years.
