Ranks of "United Russia" increased by 110 people in Bashkortostan

UFA, 6 August 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. The Secretary of the Regional Branch of the United Russia party, the Chairman of the State Assembly - Kurultay of the Republic of Bashkortostan Konstantin Tolkachev held a meeting with members of the Society of the Disabled of the Kalinin district of Ufa on Wednesday, August 5. The meeting was held within the framework of the "Accessible Environment" federal project.

Konstantin Tolkachev told about innovations in the legislation to support the socially vulnerable groups of the population.

According to the Secretary of the Regional Branch, the United Russia party, as well as other civil society organizations with which the party signed agreements on cooperation and coordination of their activities, pays close attention to support of the disabled. One of the key areas in this work is the "Accessible Environment" project. The main objectives are to support and socialize people with disabilities, develop the Internet portal "United Country" as a tool for continuous monitoring of the "Accessible Environment" state program implementation providing a comprehensive inclusion into society.

Among the most significant problems for people with disabilities Konstantin Tolkachev named the repairs of premises of organizations of the disabled, the need for specialized sports equipment, equipment provision for computer literacy courses and employment organization.

At the end of the event Konstantin Tolkachev answered questions from representatives of the district society of the disabled, and then solemnly handed over the party membership cards to 30 new members of the "United Russia". Another 80 residents of the republic with limited mobility will receive party membership cards at home.
