President of Mongolia Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj arrived in Ufa

UFA, 9 July 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/. On July 9, the President of Mongolia Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj arrived in Bashkortostan.

In Ufa, he will attend a meeting of the Council of Heads of States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), with which Mongolia works as an observer-state. Also, the President of Mongolia is invited at the meeting of Heads of State and Governments of the BRICS countries, the press service of the Head of Bashkortostan informs.

Mongolia takes the 22nd place among the countries - trade partners of Bashkortostan with a relative share of 0.7%. The foreign trade with Mongolia in 2014 totaled $ 103.4 million and mainly consisted of exports.

Oil and liquefied natural gas (84%), asphalt products (6%), ferrous metals (5%), organic chemicals and equipment are among products exported from Bashkortostan to Mongolia. The exports also include rye and honey bees. Mineral product - fluorspar used to produce ceramic glaze is imported from Mongolia in small amounts.
