Small business share in the consolidated budget of Bashkiria does not exceed 4-5%

UFA, 26 June 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. Small business still plays a relatively "modest" role in the economy of our republic. The turnover of small businesses in 2014 amounted to 600 billion rubles, or 24% of the republican turnover. The share of small business in the consolidated budget of the republic does not exceed 4-5% (about 6 billion rubles in 2014). These data were announced by the Business Ombudsman in Bashkortostan Rafael Gibadullin. The Business Ombudsman delivered a report on the observance of rights and legitimate interests of businesses in Bashkortostan in 2014 at the final plenary session of the spring session of the State Assembly RB.

Small business of the republic is represented in all economic activities. In 2014, 37.6% of small businesses have been involved in wholesale and retail trade, 17.2% carried out real estate transactions, 14.6% were employed in construction, 10.5% - in manufacturing sector, 20.1% - in other activities.

According to Bashkortostan Statistics Agency, by number of small enterprises the republic consistently ranks 11th in the country. It takes the eighth position according to their turnover and the number of people engaged in them. Small enterprises of the region employ more than 300 thousand people, or 25% of the total working population.
