Vladimir Putin signed five instructions following All-Russian People’s Front Media Forum

The Russian President, leader of the All-Russian People’s Front, Vladimir Putin signed five instructions on the results of the second media forum of independent regional and local media "Truth and Justice". It is reported by the press service of the head of the state.

According to the document, the Russian Government should take measures to prevent the rise in prices for pulp and paper products, including through the customs regulation. This must be done "in order to support periodicals". The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Dmitry Medvedev should submit a relevant report by 15 July this year.

In addition, until August 5, the Government will consider amendments to the legislation that will increase the overall length of TV advertising as roll captions on regional channels.

Also the Cabinet is instructed to increase transparency and accessibility of information on Russian regional budget funds directed for information support of public authorities and support of regional media. The designated period is till October 1, 2015.

By the same date offers on formation of state support mechanism for delivery of periodicals to the public must be submitted.

The Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia, together with the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation should exercise control over the implementation of legislation of the Russian Federation regarding the pulp and paper products pricing in 2014-2015.
