Surprises are prepared for guests of the SCO and BRICS Summits in Ufa - Head of the Department of Presidential Affairs RF

UFA, 25 May 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. Guests of the BRICS and SCO Summits to be held in July in Ufa, will find surprises in the cultural program and in the menu. This was told by the Head of the Department of Presidential Affairs RF Alexander Kolpakov in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Alexander Kolpakov noted that "Summits will give an opportunity to the distinguished guests and journalists to get acquainted with one of the original republics of Russia, to feel the hospitality of Bashkortostan. This will be reflected in menus, receptions and social events, the cultural program of the Summits, which will bring together the best creative teams in the region".

In the interview it was discussed in detail the organization of a press centre. It is expected that the work of the media in the international press centre will be organized within five days in the round-the-clock format. It is expected presence of nearly one thousand journalists from around the world. The total area of tent construction, which will be built in the immediate vicinity of the Congress Hall in Ufa, will cover about 8.5 thousand square metres. There will be several modules - for the press, television and radio companies, for briefings, journalistic pools. A restaurant will be also built there to provide round-the-clock catering services for accredited journalists.

"Of course, as it has become a tradition in recent years, mainly domestically produced products, including manufactured in Bashkortostan will be used in preparation for official receptions and the daily food offers", Alexander Kolpakov said.
