Restrictive measures in food market regulation are unacceptable - State Assembly of Bashkortostan

UFA, 30 April 2015. /Bashinform News Agency/. The proposed previously restrictive measures of the food market regulation are unacceptable. That is the conclusion reached by experts of the working group the State Assembly of Bashkortostan on monitoring the state of the food market. The experts noted that a system approach involving all interested parties should be applied, the press service of the regional parliament informs.
The Chairman of the working group Rashid Khayrullin outlined the main guidelines for further work. First of all it is necessary to designate parametres associated with food consumption. Then, based on these data vegetable stores and other vegetable warehouses should be created in the region that would allow forming a reserve at the expense of local production. It was proposed to increase the number of Sunday agricultural fairs and mobile stores to provide remote areas with food.
Representatives of the Council of the Bashkir Republican Union of Consumer Societies of the Ministry of Economic Development RB, the State Committee for Trade and Consumer Protection, the Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Finance were engaged as experts.
