Rustem Khamitov made a report at the seminar of heads of municipal administrations and urban districts of Bashkortostan

UFA, 4 March 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Iliya Spiridonov/. On March 3 in Ufa, the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov spoke at the opening session of the seminar of municipal administrations and urban districts heads of the republic "Municipal Management: Ways, Methods and Technology to Enhance its Effectiveness". During three days the members of the Government of Bashkortostan, heads of ministries and departments, invited experts will make their reports there.

Speaking about the economic situation in the republic the Head of Bashkortostan noted that despite good rates of industrial production, which in January increased by 3.9 percent compared to January 2014, the tax and non-tax revenues declined by 10 percent to the same period of the last year.

“For two months of the last year the budget received 10.5 billion rubles, this year - 9.5 billion rubles. Basically it is decrease in revenues from income tax”, the Head of the Region informed.

The bailout plan developed by the Government of the republic should counteract the negative phenomena in the economy. However, Rustem Khamitov emphasized an important role of municipal authorities in the ongoing work to overcome the crisis.

According to Rustem Khamitov, the local government must build effective interaction with the population of the municipality, be responsive to problems and requests of the people.

The Head of the Region said that in recent years Bashkortostan showed stable growth in all directions - from the industrial production index to demographics.
