Salia Murzabaeva: "High-tech medical care should be available to all needy residents of the republic"

UFA, 3 March 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. Federal subsidies in the amount of 152.761 million rubles are allocated to Bashkortostan for co-financing the cost of expensive high-tech treatment not included in the basic program of obligatory health insurance, the member of the State Duma Committee for Health Salia Murzabaeva said. The corresponding order on allocation of funds to 61 subjects in 2015 was signed by the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
According to the deputy, Bashkortostan became one of the subjects who received one of the most significant amounts of federal support, as one of the main selection criteria for grants was availability of medical organizations that had licenses to provide high-tech medical care, as well as allocating of budget funding for this purpose by the subject itself.
Total in 2014, taking into account all sources of financing, high-tech medical care was provided to 16,329 people in the republic, including in the republican institutions as co-financing from the federal and republican budgets – to 5723 people, at the expense of additional funding from the republican budget - to 2543 people, at the expense of the obligatory medical insurance - to 4879 people, at the federal medical centres - to 3184 people.
“The level of modern equipment availability at specialized republican centres, professional training of personnel now allow providing the most expensive medical care to patients in need inside the republic”, the deputy said. “The provision of federal subsidies for co-financing medical care, increase in its size as compared to the previous year by 49.5 million rubles will contribute to the further development of the high-tech medical care in the republic, introduction of its new types.”
