Planned increase in number of inhabitants while preparations for federal elections in 2016 is specified in Bashkiria

In Bashkortostan, preparations for the upcoming federal elections in 2016 are begun, the Central Election Commission of the Republic reports. Territorial commissions specify the planned increase in number of inhabitants of the municipalities. A special attention is paid to Ufa.

According to the Municipal Unitary Enterprise "Architectural and Planning Office" of Department of Architecture and Urban Planning of Ufa Administration, the population of Lenin district of the capital will increase significantly before the end of 2016. The main area for development is Zaton residential area where it is expected increase in number of residents by 16.5 thousand people.

The Territorial Election Commission together with the Lenin district administration, department of the Federal Migration Service of Russia in the Republic of Belarus hold planned activities on updating and amending the voter database of the State Automated System of the Russian Federation "Elections". Scheming of additional polling stations, selection of premises is carried out.
