Dmitry Medvedev became interested in unique social projects of Bashkiria

UFA, 4 February 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/. The Chairman of the "United Russia" party, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev during a working visit to Ufa held a meeting with the party active members on February 3.
The meeting was attended by members of the Supreme Council of the "United Russia", the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov, the secretary of the regional branch of "United Russia", Chairman of the State Assembly of the Republic Konstantin Tolkachev, Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee of the party Ramzil Ishsarin, heads and secretaries of local and primary branches of the party.
The meeting was held in question and answer format. In particular, the keen interest was aroused by the republican project on searching for missing soldiers. According to the coordinator of the party project, history teacher at Ufa Lyceum "Sodruzhestvo" Nazira Hakimova, a unique method of searching for data about the soldiers gone missing is developed in the republic, and the regional project is ready to be spread all over Russia.
Prime Minister took to review instructional materials on the project.
“If this is a truly unique technology, then perhaps it should get distribution,” Dmitry Medvedev said.
Another republican project that has a chance to grow into a federal one is "The People's University of the Third Age." According to its curators, today about 60 thousand pensioners took training courses at the "People's University". The program allows pensioners increasing their financial, legal literacy, learning to work with the computer, acquiring knowledge in various fields free of charge.
“The idea is quite good,” Dmitry Medvedev said. “If it invigorates people and gives them desire to live and to create, it is very good. I will give instructions to federal heads, including the Ministry of Education and other ministries to take note of your experience.”
