First 12 hours of storage cars at special police parking lot will be free in Bashkortostan

UFA, 20 January 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. The deputies of the State Assembly of Bashkortostan plan to make the first 12 hours of storage and transportation of a car to a special police parking lot free of charge. The corresponding bill will be considered in the second and final reading at the plenary session of the republican parliament on January 27.

The draft bill amends the Law "On procedure of vehicles transportation to a special police parking lot, their storage, payment of costs for their transportation and storage, as well as return of vehicles to owners in the Republic of Bashkortostan". The law is replenished by an Article related to awareness of citizens about detention of their cars and transportation them to the parking lot. Specialized organizations will be required to create round-the-clock reference and information services or to post the required information on the official websites. Citizens, who witnessed the evacuation of their car for violation of parking regulations, should pay only towing services and avoid additional costs for use of a special parking space.
