Concept of regional informatization is adopted for the period until 2018

UFA, 14 January 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/. The Russian government adopted a decree approving the concept of regional informatization. The corresponding document was signed by the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, the Ministry of Communications and Media of the Russian Federation informs.

The concept of regional informatization defines the basic goals and directions for the use of information and communication technologies in the state power bodies of subjects of the Russian Federation for the period until 2018, as well as the organizational model for managing such activities.

The main objectives of the concept of regional informatization is improving the quality of life of citizens through the use of information and communication technologies, leveling the information society development in the regions. The concept proposes basic principles for the development of information and communication technologies in 14 various areas of socio-economic development of the Russian Federation, including in education, transport, healthcare, communications, public safety.
