More than 120 initiatives of the State Assembly of Bashkortostan acquired a status of law in 2014

UFA, 12 January 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. Parliamentarians of Bashkortostan developed 165 bills in the past year; more than 120 of them were adopted. Only in the autumn session four initiatives of the State Assembly RB acquired a status of federal laws. The results of legislative activity in 2014 were summed up by the Speaker of the republican parliament Konstantin Tolkachev at the meeting with members of the State Assembly - Kurultay of Bashkortostan.

Konstantin Tolkachev described the past year as productive and intense in terms of legislative activities of the State Assembly RB.

The Chairman of the State Assembly named among the most important laws in the republican legislation the Law "On Amendments to the Constitution of the Republic of Bashkortostan", "On the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan", "On Civil Legislative Initiative in the Republic of Bashkortostan", "On Social Service of Citizens in the Republic of Bashkortostan".

The Committees of the State Assembly reviewed about 1130 bills of the State Duma and 200 legislative initiatives from the subjects of the Russian Federation in the last year.

Deputies took part in various republican and municipal events, held meetings with voters.

Reports on the state of the Bashkortostan legislation for 2014 and the activities of the regional parliament will be presented at the meeting of the State Assembly scheduled for January 29.
