Vladimir Putin met with President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov

UFA, 30 December 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. The Russian President Vladimir Putin met with the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov.

The President discussed with the head of the republic the socio-economic situation in the region.

Rustem Khamitov spoke about the year results. Bashkortostan showed good results in key areas, in industrial production and in solving social issues.

Bashkortostan President pointed out that the special growth was marked in investment in fixed assets. It made 104-105 percent.

“Agriculture also shows some progress. We are one of the few subjects which have good milk output. Today it is a scarce product. We produce about 1 million 850 thousand tons. This is one of the best results in the Russian Federation. We build large objects, farm complexes. We have 11 large investment projects for 60 billion rubles,” the head of the republic said.

Vladimir Putin was interested in wages of public sector employees - doctors and teachers.

Rustem Khamitov said that these indicators were kept in accordance with May decrees.

Bashkortostan President noted that "the region worked well this year at the sponsored region in Crimea. Residents of the republic collected more than 200 million rubles. For this money 38 facilities were repaired: roofs, roads, water supply lines, nurseries, etc.
