Parliamentarians of Bashkortostan adopted the Law "On the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan"

The deputies of the State Assembly - Kurultay of Bashkortostan Republic at the last in this year's plenary session considered the draft law "On the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan" in the second and third readings. The legislative innovation was developed by the Committee for State Construction, Rule of Law and Judicial Matters.

The first reading of the legislative initiative was held on November 27. Seven amendments were made to the draft that did not change the concept of the document, but merely specify certain provisions. Deputies have reviewed and approved the proposed amendments and adopted a regulation in the second and third reading.

The bill is associated with amendments to the Constitution of Bashkortostan renaming the highest official of the republic. It defines the legal bases of activity and guarantees of the rights of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan: the procedure of election, the contents of the oath, legislative and public administration powers, in particular, the order of their early termination, the status after retiring.
