Housing construction rate has tripled in Sterlitamak for four years

UFA, 10 December 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Rozaliya Valeeva/. The volume of housing construction rose twice for a year in Sterlitamak: in 2014, it will be commissioned nearly 100 thousand sq. m of housing; in 2013 this figure amounted to 50 thousand sq. m. In just four years the housing construction volume has tripled in Sterlitamak. This was reported yesterday by the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov at a meeting with chairmen of the councils of municipal districts, urban districts and urban settlements in the region.

“We have good rates of residential housing construction,” Rustem Khamitov said. “We have a plus of about 12 percent. By the number of commissioned housing, we ranked first in the Volga Federal District and Ural economic region. We have the greatest construction volume. Tatarstan built by about 100-150 thousand sq. m of housing less than we did in the Volga Federal District. In the Ural economic district we are ahead of all. Yekaterinburg and Sverdlovsk regions follow us with a large backlog.

According to Rustem Khamitov, in Ufa housing construction rose by five percent. At the same time there are regions where there is a clear decline, for example, in Sterlitamak region, Bizhbulyak region and the city of Agidel.
