Increasing role of state in the economy is one of the most important issues in the Vladimir Putin’s Address - President of Bashkortostan

UFA, 5 December 2014. /Bashinform News Agency/. On December 4, the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov took part in the ceremony of announcing the Annual Address of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to the Federal Assembly, the press service of the republic informs.

The ceremony held in the St. George Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace was attended by members of the Federation Council, State Duma deputies, members of the Government, the heads of the Constitutional and Supreme Courts, regional governors, heads of regional legislative assemblies, heads of Russia's traditional religious faiths, public figures, including the heads of regional public chambers, the heads of major media.

Commenting on the Address of the President RF Rustem Khamitov said that the main thing in the document - "is economic development, issues related to the economic base creation, issues related to social objectives: education and health care".

“Especially I marked the issue of lack of schools in large settlements. This is true for our republic. We simply do not have enough schools in particular, in Ufa, Sterlitamak, in some cities. The children attend the second shift. In addition, I would like to point out the issues of relieving business from intrusive supervision and control and the issues related to the amnesty of capital. Indeed, people keep a lot of resources in their thrift boxes, and most importantly there are enormous resources abroad that should be brought back and work to the benefit of our country economy. This idea is very important. Today, it is clear that the return of money will contribute to the economic development of our country.”

Commenting on the thesis of the Address that the regions will be able to receive the federal support in establishing industrial parks, infrastructure for business, Rustem Khamitov said:

“Of course, we are already involved in these programs. The federal centre will compensate for the creation of industrial parks. What happens in reality? Today regions create industrial parks, provide benefits for the residents participating in this program. And the Russian Federation is starting to receive additional taxes due to creation of new enterprises. These taxes are directed to the federal budget, and the subjects of the Russian Federation receive nothing of it. We don’t have other "pros" in addition to costs and creating new jobs. Thus today we are going to participate in these programs. We hope that our industrial parks will get good support from the federal budget.”

With regard to the declaring 2015 the National Year of Fighting Cardiovascular Diseases, the head of the region noted that these diseases are "huge, large-scale problem for the country and for our republic."

“We must achieve good, normal life expectancy figures and do it fast enough. I'll be tough, ruthless in supervising health care leaders, and chief physicians. Today there is a lot of formalism, a lot of falsification of figures, haughty arrogant attitude to what they have to do. And, of course, we will make order in this relation”, Rustem Khamitov underlined.
