UFA, 1 December 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. 115 thousand inhabitants of Volga District became participants of socially significant youth projects in 2014. Plans for implementation of socially significant projects in 2015 were discussed at the meeting of the Board of Foundation for Assistance in Civil Society Institutions Development in Volga Federal District. According to the Presidential Envoy in the Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich, regional projects proved their relevance and viability. The program of sports tourism development was included in the regional and municipal programs of youth sports training in the subjects of the Russian Federation.

In 2015, the final of the Russian military-sports game "Zarnitsa" will take place.

During the three years of the project "Return to Childhood" of 11,500 children being in orphanages now only 6,000 children remain. The others found their new families and homes.

New projects, which were launched this year, will be continued in 2015. These include the search movement development.

Another project was support and development of children and youth hockey as part of the "Golden Puck" tournament. In the Volga Federal District there was the greatest coverage of children - about 30 thousand and the largest number of participating teams within the youth tournament.

Mikhail Babich, summing up the meeting, asked the members of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation with a request not to reduce their activity in 2015.
