Rustem Khamitov: residents of Bashkiria suffered from the hurricane will receive compensations

On August 30, Rustem Khamitov visited Krasnokamsk and Yanaul regions where a state of emergency was introduced in the aftermath of squally wind on August 29, the press service of the head of the republic informs. As a result of the hurricane houses and social facilities were damaged. There were several victims. Rustem Khamitov appreciated the scale of destruction in Konigovo village of Yanaul region, in Vostochny district of Yanaul and in Karievo village of Krasnokamsk region.

The destructive hurricane lasted no more than two minutes, according to local people. Most of the damaged buildings were not insured. Rustem Khamitov assured that the republic would help to restore the houses. Instead of those houses that cannot be recovered, new ones will be built. Material damage will be compensated to the residents - committees are already working in settlements. They will conduct an inventory of the lost property, and will determine the extent of damage. People will receive funds for the purchase of essential items already on Monday, September 1. Locally temporary accommodation facilities, mobile kitchens are also deployed.

In Neftekamsk Rustem Khamitov chaired a meeting of the Republican Commission for the Emergency Prevention and Response.
