Rustem Khamitov: We don’t have corruption in the upper echelons of power

Bashkortostan Government at the level of top executives is fully free from any corruption. Rustem Khamitov, the head of Bashkortostan said about it at a meeting with businessmen in Neftekamsk on July 24.

“I have repeated many times that at the level of our government, at the level of ministers, at the level of vice-premiers, at the level of top executives the matter of corruption is brought to a close”, Khamitov said.

The head of the republic admitted that among middle-ranking and lower-ranking civil servants, this problem occurred unfortunately.

Rustem Khamitov urged the business community to help the republican government in "fishing out" those officials who allow themselves such abusive practice.

The head of the republic compared work of officials with medical treatment.

"I set the task to all ministers:" Work hard, be demanding of your subordinates. Be able to work, learn to communicate, learn to meet, listen and hear people. Your employees must be as doctors – because people seek help in extreme cases", Khamitov said.
