Plenary session of Bashkortostan Parliament opened in Ufa

The tenth session of the Legislative Assembly of the republic opened in the House of the State Assembly - Kurultay Bashkortostan. Deputies will consider 48 issues. The agenda includes an issue of pre-term elections of the President of Bashkortostan Republic.

The elected officials will hear a report of the Government RB on results of state property privatization and the state program "Development of agriculture and regulation of agricultural products, raw materials and food markets in the Republic of Bashkortostan" in 2013.

Deputies will consider proposed amendments to the republican laws governing the production and circulation of alcohol, forest relations, agriculture, culture, commerce, workflow in the housing sector.

New bills propose to increase the penalties for unauthorized trade, introduce support measures for farmers from the unfavourable climatic areas, to define a procedure of alcohol sale ban in certain localities, as well as to abolish the Republican Day of Culture Professionals.
